Expedition LE with 4-Tec 1200

Thinking of getting the Expedition LE with the 4-Tec 1200 for a family fishing sled and trail sled for the wife and I. She don't like to run her own sled anymore, but I still like to take her from time to time:face-icon-small-win I just cant do a touring model and the Skandics just don't seem worth the money any more. These Expeditions with the wide tracks are monsters but I'm 6'3" and 270 lbs. I think I could throw one around in the powder.
I have never had or even ridden a utility sled. Are they just plain boring or what? I know they are going to be way different from a standard mountain sled as far as weight and power to the track. My question is; is it going to be just boring to run or can they be fun? It seems to me the 4-Tec would be the best choice in engines. Should work great with the dual speed clutch. Anyone out there ever try these Expeditions out?

I dont have any experience on that particular sled, but have ridden a few ski doo touring sleds and havent seen much of a difference than a standard sled. Of corse it will be very different compared to a mountain sled, but all n all its still a snowmobile and you can have plenty of fun on it.

Might want to swap out the low lug track if your going to be playing in the powder though..

FUN!

The Expedition is a great sled. I ride with the old dogs the odd time when we stay at our sled camp up in Kakwa,AB. They get around pretty good. They even make it up into some of the bowls and actually take a poke at the hill. I was even thinking of one for the wife and my small children.
