Exahust Temp Sensor EGT Dragon vs 900

So coming back from riding last Sat she starting blinking 5.

Stop and idle it would clear , pin it it would clear.
Cruise for awhile about 35 mph and it would start blinking again.

Exahust Temp Sensor out of range.


Anyone ever put a sensor off a newer Dragon 800 on there 900, I can find these used everywhere ?

Anybody got a good used one I could buy ?

Testing

Took the Sensor off the Sled.

I believe it was just a loose bullet connector.

I tightened them up.

I supported it so I could heat it with propane, and used an analog Ohm meter on it. Heating and letting it cool the meter was smooth up and down.

Does anyone konw if these use DC or AC volatage I bet DC.

The Code chart indicates Voltage out of range not Resistance.


Anyone hook one to a 12v - 14v DC power source and check it by heating it.
