Ride your current sled, rent a few new ones, attend a on snow demo or 2 this spring and snow check a 2016. I'm in love with my T3 163! It rides like my 13 XM 154 w way more traction and flotation. You would have about 10 months to save for your snow check, have warranty and get time to try a few out.

Currently i'm riding a 2005 king cat 163". I really don't want to spend anymore than $8000.

Update what you have (3"174, fresh pistons and reeds, running boards, rebuild shocks and clutches) and show some of the new stuff how to get around.
If your comfy with your sled, that's 85% of the handles. You definitely don't have a shortage of power or floatation.

When you ride something that makes you go wow,,, save up for it.

Okay, so i'm sure this question has been asked many times but i'm going to ask it again. Looking to buy a new sled. I ride in Utah in high elevation and I like to ride deep powder. So i want a sled that does good in the deep powder but yet is nimble enough so that i can carve up hills through the trees. So my question to you guys is what are some good sleds nothing newer than a 2013 that would work best for this kind of riding?

Picked up my new t3 today at driven power sports in casper new pro 800 $10500 I know thats over your budget but great price for new sled and no sales tax if you're from out of state. Poo is clearacing do do revamping pro.

Step up to a '10-'11 M8 and you will have a sled that works well. I like the sno pro version best in a 153. You should be able to find a nice one for around $6k

Or if you can find an 09 M8, they have all the upgrades of the 10-11 models save for the add 15 hp and typically are a much better price than the 10-11 HO models. They have the new tunnel, boards, rails and most importantly the elect engine reverse.
They only lack the HP and good seat of the newer models.
