Cranky Neighbors and Sled Noise

I lied.
I have neighbors.
Just not close enough to care if my sleds are straight piped.

But.

Holy Hannah with a dead vibrator battery.

She gets angry, very, very angry when my 45’ end gun doesn’t shut off as it passes 10’ from her kitchen window at 2:00 am.

But Ahhhhh…..
The power of cheese.

Particularly Olive Garden Cheese when she gets the 50# box of spuds and a $100 gift certificate to OG.

AKA OG Neighbor Maker.

my new neighbors are from Boston. Ma. I live in Monroe Wa. in a nice development. Everyone is on 1 or more acres. The new people live about 200 feet away across the road. It was summertime and I was in the garage working on some stuff and running my compressor. The guy came over and acused me of running a business out of my garage and he did not like my noise. So, I went and opened up my shop and took my 71 mach1 out. It has a fire breathing 408 stroker with super 44 flow masters. Drove it around and made it bark. Guy up the road is a state cop. He is always trying to get me light the tires up. so, I did in front of his house. Then I parked it and got a beta 300rr out and road it for a while. The Boston boy has not said anything since. load the sled the day before most of the time. no issues. Those are the only words we have spoken in 3 years. I have lived in my house for 40 plus years. I will not change. Other neighbor drives his sxs all the time. All my neighbors have been great cause they know the noise is very short lived. I guess the Boston boy bought into the wrong neighborhood.
