That explains a lot.
I just traded 2 new 083's(plus cash) for 1 084.
I've seen the 083 put holes through panels, i don't want holes plus the 083 doesn't last as long as the 084 on my sled.

I would of happily traded you some 084 for your 083 I prefer them I feel they hold better RPM and such

That's weird, I have 2 of them and they are on original belts. I also had some buddies that never had any trouble with their 12 cats.


Think it's a combination of alignment not set from factory, dealer didn't check it, customer didn't check it, no venting, etc.
