Compression On 05 800 Ho

Just Bought My First Rev 05 800 Ho Renagade X And Was Wondering What The Compression Should Check. I Tested It And Both Sides Check Even At 128 Is That Normal ? Or What Is Normal ! Sled Has 2400 Miles On It Thanks Tablerock

What elevation...sounds 'acceptable' for ~5k ft

Elevation? Test method - throttle wide open or closed? Engine warm or room temp? Pull till the tester stops?

Mine has 160 at 1200ft. Throttle wide open, room temp engine (55-60), pull it six times.

Tested It At 1000 Ft ,closed Throttle At 65 Degrees

Just a waste of time if you don't open the throttle all the way to let some air in.

this a summit or a mxz? summits had higher compression heads.

its still prob within acceptable parameters...under 125-120 its prob time.. or w/ that many miles, next season do rings?

oh just reread, you have a renegade, that'll have the lower comp head if i'm thinking correctly...so those #s are fine imo.
