What other chassis mods is everybody doing.

On ours we have gone to a 15 wide chain, hyvo gears, four post stm clutch, Reverse delete, shock wave helix and looking at clutch braces.

Robbie @ AVID does a drive-shaft reinforcement where he welds a tube inside of the shaft = dual welds. Also has a chaincase for D&R if you want to get a 3" paddle under it with 8T 3"-pitch drivers.

;-)

MD.

we are running a 3.0 pitch 174 X 2.5 on ours. the avid drivers are holding for now but they will be a wear item.

Oh and when you change drivers be carefull. We learned the hard way by kinking one drive shaft.

Was thinking of sending the shaft to AVID to do the weld & driver install, then adjusting the drivers against the track upon return.

;-)

That is a good idea. A new shaft was 500 bucks. Avid did not have that option when we did ours. But i think that it will help alot.
