I have a nerly full 10 liter jug of new polaris oil but bought an 09 M1000. shame to waste $120 of high quality synthetic oil. Can I run it till its gone?

thanks for any advice

Oil is oil. Run it til it's gone.

Is it the best for it? Probably not but I'm sure it won't hurt anything.

You bet--Its a very good oil for any sled- Best for power valves. I run that sh1t in my 2010 M8 HCR. All I use:face-icon-small-ton

I've been running it in all my cats for 3 years. My dealer will fill a gallon jug for $25, making it the cheapest "power valve" oil around.

Ive been running it in my m7 for years its great oil. You probably wont go back. I wasn't sure how well it mixed with cat oil so i removed most of the cat oil before adding the ves gold.

VES is good stuff, been running it for years, smells and looks like Redline

Wow, you guys run Polaris VES Gold Plus? Its only slightly worse than the original VES Gold.

It's horrible oil. As one Polaris engine builder has said, its best used for keeping the dust settled on your driveway. IndyDan, who has seen the inside of more Polaris motors than any one out there warns everyone away from it.

Pull a motor apart that's been running it and you'll swear someone has been using peanut oil to fry a turkey.

I wouldn't run it.

sounds like the problem ur having is that ur using it in a polaris engine.....pretty sure you would need some pretty special oil to keep those things togeather...

ive got a chit load of miles on whatever oil is available (APV, VES gold, that purple stuff) and havnt had any problems....

ARE YOU CRAZY??? POO OIL IN A CAT??? BLASPHEMY!!!

Hahaha Just kiddin.:face-icon-small-ton I wouldn't waste $120 of oil either. As long as you stick to synthetic, they are all pretty good in my mind.

oil

iwould trade it for cat oil , never blend oils , if you are going to switch for good , thats fine but just to run it cause you got it , i wouldnt , what does er manual say and stick with it , seen to many guys switch oil and blowmotors ,, cat=cat oil!!

Stick with one oil if you can <> 05 M7 <> 4,000MILES on her <> 90% of them using VES GOLD <> Good stuff <> Exhaust valves stay cleaner than using CAT.
