Can an aftermarket Ptec can be modified to fit an etec motor?

Hey Guys- I have an old aftermarket can for a ptec and was wondering if it's possible to modify it so it's compatible with an etec motor.

Ptec- Etec can

I believe the only difference is the Etec can has an O2 sensor fitting on the top of it.
