Black hills atv/utv weekend

Hey guys I understand that it's the wrong time of year but I thought I'd post this now while there is still a little traffic on this page.
A group of us are trying to plan a side by side weekend for june 12-14. I'm hoping you guys can answer some questions for us. First questions is where would be the best place to rent a cabin where we can ride out of. And where's the best place to rent side by sides from? I'd imagine being mid June we shouldn't have to worry about snow, especially this year, correct? Any other help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I actually have a similar question. Thinking about brining the toy hauler and my Ranger. Looking for a great full hook up camp ground we can ride the ranger from. Wife and I love the hills. But she can't ride a sled after her wrist surgery. Soooo we are thinking about a summer trip and seeing some places we can't see on the bike.

Any suggestions???

u mite try mountain medow resort. I haven't met the new management but parents said they were nice. I think they have full hookup there as well. I prefer that area to atv compared to northern hills seems to be less private property you run across. but that's just my opinion. www.mtmeadow.com

I would recommend Rec Springs. Rented from them last year and had a good experience, from there its a short road ride down to Spearfish Canyon where we were able to get on the trails.

They also rent cabins, or there are alot of VRBO homes you could ride from in the area.

We rent in Gilded Mountain sub division a couple times a year. Lil pricey, but they have a heated pool for the kids to swim in, which always goes over well after a long day on the trails. Its maybe 2-3miles away from Rec Springs. We enjoyed the trails from Mystic Mountain, and further east. More rock climbing. Will be down there this year again for sure.
