A Y-Pipe and Reeds will really wake the 800 up. Reeds really work on this engine as well. Lots of dyno info on HCS about these mods.

You can do the mountain performance kit like I did, but I run the low elevation head because there's lots of sub 5000' riding here, I'm gonna throw a 1.5* key at it next

If you ran the standard billet head, then you could run the 2.5 key. The mountain version billet head is more best above 5000ft.

So, if I'm running the mountain head the odd time at home at 3000ft, to protect motor should a guy be running higher or lower octane?

Cool I have a 2.5* key as well I'll just throw that in, but if I was to add your pipe to this mix prob best to remove the key so it's more friendly to over rev characteristics ??

Cracked my D&D twice last year, running speedwerx this past winter no issues, didn't notice any performance difference between the two
