Base Gasket

I am doing top end of a 600 CFI engine. The base gasket in the Winderosa gasket set is paper whereas the OEM is metal and in good condition.
I would like to just reuse the OEM gasket. I don't see a problem with that but any feedback is appreciated. I could order new Polaris ones but I want to finish the rebuild soon.

check with your fav parts store for gasket sealer I use a rattle can type it's red its kinda tacky seals pretty good or an anaerobic gel.
or use the paper you just cant have vacuum leaks.

K&W Copper coat spray is my go to for metal or paper gaskets.
