Well, it's been several years since I've gotten to ride again in AK, and though snow got off to a slow start, I'm finally back in the saddle and am spending time riding the Susitna Valley. The density of the snow compared to ID will take a little getting used to, and I've almost busted my ass a handful of times adjusting to the HP difference at sea level, I bought land about a half a mile off the Willow Loop, and must say, it's nice not having to worry about USFS Rangers, closed riding areas, out of bounds areas, and fencing.... good times
