Anyone dealt with code P1021 “wastegate actuator learning process”

Anyone dealt with the P1021 “wastegate actuator learning process” error check engine issue? Page 211 in the owners manual. Mine is at the dealer now. The sled ran but didn’t seem to make full power. Only reached about 8,000 RPM. Could hardly hear the wastegate when I’d let off the throttle at wide open. From what I can tell the wastgate valve isn’t closing at all or maybe very little. Like the exhaust valve movement check, I think the wastegate valve is supposed to go through it’s movements once started, and if it doesn’t hit each point you’ll get this code P1021 on digital wrench. Could not find that code in the 7S code section.

If anyones gotten this code let us know what the dealer did to fix it. Thanks.

see there not much info on this code mine is setting off the p1021 now if u read this what was the cause and fix

Check to see if the spring rod is worn where it goes into the wastegate. This was a problem last year. I did a thread on it.

Yes when I had this code (23 boost) the ev actuator was bad and needed to be replaced.
