Dan, I'm good for at least two sets. Likely more than that.

They are machined from 1 1/4" round stock, 1.015"-1.020" Overall length, The part that presses into the ski plastic is 0.625" Diameter and 0.900" long (with a 1/16" chamfer on the leading edge), The bolt hole is 0.394" or 10mm. The shoulder is a skim cut under the 1 1/4" diameter (with a 1/32" chamfer on both sides) and varies in thickness from 0.110"`0.120".

I'm sending you a few sets so you can confirm dimensions prior to committing to production. Should make today's mail run out, you should see them by Tuesday or Wednesday.
Sounds good I'll get you guys a quote hopefully by Monday or Tuesday. You can all decide then and let me know who all is in. My turnaround time on these is usually about 3 weeks. Thanks LH looking forward to getting them In the mail.

Based on what LH gave for dimensions I could do them for $21.00 each.
Dan

Good deal! That's under $100 shipped for the set of four needed per sled.

And still more than $10 cheaper than the heavy steel stockers.

Count me in for a minimum of 12.

This is yet another example that the OEM's could build a mid-300 pound dry weight sled for little to no price increase / difference. $33.00 for a coated steel bushing is robbery at best. Nobody in their right mind would pay that much for that bushing in steel.

What ski rubbers are you running?

.

Whatever i can stuff in there. :)

Mostly skidoo rubbers.

I ruined a bunch of them til i put angle pieces to hold the rubber centered in the pocket.

When the wieght of the sled is on the ski the rubber isn't holding the wieght of the sled thats for sure.
They aren't that tight.

Its a 7/16"x7/8" piece of .063 aluminum angle 3" long. This and a dab of grease on top of the rubber made these rubbers last 5 times longer than my last 4-5 sets.
After half a season at the end of last year they are still good and show no signs of blowing out.

I think this is the answer for the pro rmk.

I cut strips of 1/8" UHMW I stacked on top of each other that fit directly under the ski rubber in the middle pocket so to speak. I have to put pressure on my Nytro spindles to get the bolts through. I'm using factory Gripper rubbers.

SMF...Whats up with your ball joint mod on the Z-Broz Lower arm?

404863964fa9534130c4f1dbc69e4b81.jpg

.

I detailed it out in a thread last year.
Basically RH thread 3/4" chromoly hiem joint on the left side and LH thread on the right. When you hit an immovable object the upper ball joint shears and the lower loosens in the threaded end of the a arm.

I twisted the end off of a few arms before I tried this.
Held up great for 3-4 hits. Replace the upper ball joint and go 5-10 minutes later. :)

ALT IMPACT is producing these in Titanium for us! And they are cheaper than stock!

TO THE TOP: For those interested in adding some light weight art to their gripper skis. ALT has stepped up to the plate to produce these beauties in Titanium. And his price for Titanium is 2/3 the cost of the heavy stock steel bushing.

No problem guys. I have some other projects in the works. Should have complete engine ti bolt kits soon as well as a bigger component that I'll wait to disclose until I know I can commit to it and get it out there for a reasonable price. I'll be sure to post everything when I know more. Thanks!
