Aerocharger, LLC, a premier manufacturer of turbo systems, is proud to release their turbo system for all Ski-Doo E-Tec powered snowmobiles. This system was designed specifically for the Ski-Doo RMSHA race team and will offer you an extra 50-120HP. At 7psi the engine was dyno tested by the BRP race team and made 240HP.

Almost everything you need is included with this system. Straight out of the box you will receive wideband oxygen gauge, intercooler, fuel system and o-ringed airbox. There are no upgrades to nickel and dime you. The system is easily installed, requires no welding and comes pre-assembled in major sub-assemblies to make your installation as easy as possible. With this system there are no sacrifices; you have power, reliability and rideability. Turbo systems for the 600cc engines are available for $5,250.00 and the 800cc engine for $5,650.00. Systems are also available for the 2011 Polaris Pro-RMK/Assault and Rush Pro-ride snowmobiles.

What psi could a flatlander run on 91 because I'm sure at 240 hp at 7 psi it requires race fuel. So to run a 50/50 mix that would be around 4 to 5 psi this does not leave much on the table for a flatlander, but a dam good setup for higher elevation.

boost

I doubt if they are using race fuel at 7 psi at elevation. I run 12 psi on 110 octane at 1500'. Granted mine is an 800r which is a relatively low compression motor to begin with. I dont know if they threw more compression at the etec or not.

For guys running on the flats. I would run low boost, probably around 5psi. 5psi at sea level will give you about 220 hp. With that said though, I would not run pure pump gas. All of our flatland customer are mixing in race fuel to insure engine longevity.

how about for the 600 etec what fuel and boost can be run at sea level?

The 600cc would be the same as the 800cc. I have been running my 800cc at 10psi 6500ft 75% race fuel. At 7psi we were 50/50. Felker is playing with 100% pump at 5.5psi.

Who's fuel controller do you use? Is it stand alone?

The controller we use is based on Dobeck hardware but is not like any hardware you have seen from Dobeck before. It does monitor the stock system but does not manipulate the factory injectors. The factory signal is not like any other FI signal. We take all our additional fuel through the case. This is helpful for several reasons. One the fuel gets on the back of the pistons to help cool them. Two we can premix the fuel in the tank and this will aid in lubricating the bottom end. The pre-mix does not affect the injectors and the decrease in fuel through the factory injectors is easily made up by our secondary injectors.

Thanks for the question.

Andrew is headed to Salt Lake today and will be in Afton next week getting ready for the RMSHA Race if anybody wants to see/ride the sled let us know.

We have 3 Turbo Etecs with Aeros on them and would be happy to let you ride them anytime. They are working very well. We have one pump gas version and two of them at 7-8psi..Just pm me as we ride the range regularly.
