AC tether - defect?

Installed a generic tether on my sled last year and noticed that, after a year, it had started to wear out and no longer makes solid contact, so I bought a factory replacement on Amazon. It showed up today and the screw inside is off-center. Assuming this is not normal....can anyone confirm or deny?

Yes some of them come that way No big deal. If it bothers you just unscrew the screw and reinstall it in the center. It’s just a very small self tapping screw

Be kinda careful with the rubber boot deal . I had one on my last snowmobile and it tore and was ruined. No biggie but just another thing. I tore it cause of forcing it on the deal and of course flinging off over and over again lol! Lots of snow coming!!
