99 MM600 Head Gasket

I have quite a bit of oil on the lower portion of the engine, starts from the head gasket down. Only on the front half of the engine. I am going to replace the head gasket, but I need to know what the torque specs are for the nuts on the head? I heard 17lbs and I've heard 22lbs. Thanks for your help!

if your head gasket was leaking you would be leaking antifreeze i doubt its the head gasket. its normal for some black oily residue to leak out around where the exhaust manifold attaches to cylinders and make a mess everywhere. head torque is 17lbs there is a torque seqence you need to follow
