800 pc Ecu code 05

Posting for a friend. Getting ECU code 05. Open or short circuit in intake air temp sensor. Where is the sensor located and what would be a likely cause for this code? He also added that the key switch isn't turning the sled off which I assume Is totally unrelated. I'm not familiar with the sled so any help you guys can offer would be great! He bought the sled used and took it for the first little ride today.

The air intake temperature sensor is located in the hood intake duct behind the right headlight. Probable cause, the sensor wiring harness became disconnected.

Since the keyswitch isn't working, the two may be related in that the main wiring harness connector under the hood isn't properly seated or there's a pin or two in the main harness connector that are pushed back.

He cleaned connections and voila all systems go

Glad to hear it was a simple fix. Dielectric grease on all the connectors is cheap insurance.
