580 ext efi blinking light on brain box what does the blinks mean

a friend has a 94 efi 580 ext and i blew a fuse (the 5amp at the back of the fuse box) put a new one in and the light blinks very fast and steady...then slow then backfires...shut it down and start again and now its fine i think... i know nothing about cats and thought i would see if there are any reasons the fuse would have blown...thanks for any info...and what does the blink codes mean like slow ok and fast you have a problem

you get 1 flash when you turn key on, telling all systems are operating within range. The ECU will store faults and flash a # of times depending on whats going wrong..I don't have a book here to tell me whats what but I'll check tomorrow or someone else will post some help..

don;t panic...the brain box also is a turn signal indicator...the only issue is ..you have to plan your trip on a straight piece of trail and mount the box on the anticipated side of your machine that you feel will indicate the future turn your taking....its a very forward thinking style of riding...

Wow really??? i am sure glad i dont ride cats then that would really screw up my riding....that must be why all cat riders stay on the trail then
