C chevy_man Free Member Dec 14, 2020 493 682 93 Dec 3, 2021 #2 Define better. Mine runs perfect at 4k at my house, and the highest I've had it was 9k and it was exactly the same. Carbs, you need to jet for altitude. Take it from the lake at 2k to the trees at 8k and you're gonna be changing jets.
