looking at new snowbike kit for my 2020 tx husky thinking keeping as lite as i can to make up for lack of tork with 300 looking at yeti fr129 or left over ss 129 will the yeti stock gearing work good or will it need to be regeared anyone using this set up live in northwest washington 66 years young 177 lbs. appreciate any thoughts on this set up thanks

The TX is a great choice for a snow bike 2stroke. The Yeti 129FR is the prefect choice for this bike. With stock gearing it should be spot on. You can always swap around countershaft gears on the bike at $15 per gear to quickly and easily find the gearing you and your bike likes. If you get down to a 12T countershaft sprocket and like it, then change the gearing in the Yeti so you can be back to a 13T countershaft sprocket for long term.

Yeti or CMX. I'm running a CMX 129 and love it. CMX is more playful like a riot and the Yeti is slightly better for real deep powder.
