2020 Polaris 800 Mag oil seal different than 2019?

I am rebuilding my 2017 Polaris 800HO engine due to a failure and want to replace the crank seals with the latest greatest seal. In my research, I see 18-19 have the MAG side as 5416836 which also is superceded for the 2017 engine. It is listed as having a size of 35x48x7. However, when I look up a 2020 800HO, it lists a 5416911 seal with a size of 35x45x7. Seems strange that they would have switched to a seal with a smaller OD. I can't find any mention of this change anywhere on the net. Anybody know anything about it? Jeff

just use the seal it calls for , i know of no problems with the seals ,but if you have a bad crank bearing no seal will hold
