My brother purchased the above sled. It has about 100 miles on it now the last two trips we have some pretty significant issues. Last weekend we spend a good day of riding and after sitting for a while and then taking it began to show Detonation on the display and would barely run. We figures moisture had gotten in and something was freezing up as the snow was really deep and we had rolled it over few times getting it unstuck. This weekend, after riding for about an hour with a lot less snow and it ran out of power with nothing showing on the display. It sat for a while and then it began working again with a few sputters here and there. As we got lower in elevation it seemed to improve so we continued to ride. After about 45 minutes it began to seem like it went back into limp mode with no power. We were able to get it out but can't figure out what is occurring. We generally start at about 3300 feet and climb up to 6000 feet and play around. Running straight av gas with a 5 lb spring. The two previous trips to the last two it ran like a champ. Any thoughts?

Thanks

You probably have an air leak. Pressure test the engine/turbo. Look for any wear on the blow off line, especially by the valve.

Did you call silber? Did you look past the turbo and think it's a Polaris issue? Try a different map sensor? Did you look at all the simple stuff? Wires melted? Some guys are pretty sloppy with wires during install... a few extra zip ties are worth it!
