Been talking with a nice guy about buying his 2018 ex-f 450 for a snow build. It has 44 hours and he’s not a snow guy just dirt. Said it was trails in the mountains. Will take 6k ? I’ve been trying to find a unicorn in the woods for a decent year and kit but either old and no e-start or new and spendy or a combo . So I’ll probably be at or above a built for sale Snowbike that’s purpose built by a guy like you but I can’t seem to find one in my budget anyway lol.have any advice? Thanks

I have a 17 factory edition SXF. Great bike. Not really any issues you need to be aware of that I have seen. Have about 150 hours on the snow with mine. 6K is a fair deal. it is better if its got accessories on it.

As long as its an SX and not an EXC, its great for snow. No kick back up is the only downside to the SX. Price sounds good.

An EXC can be made to work but needs mapping or a replacement ECU and exhaust.

Great price on the sxf we have a 17 and 18 they are very easy to pump power out of and super reliable .. we do 100 hour pistons … 230 on one and about 100 on the other .. like others have said no dirt in the motor is key .

You’ll love the ride. I’ve got lots of time on a 350 and loved it. Would do a 450 sxf in a heartbeat. Thought the tall gearbox would be a problem when I bought it but I loved it.
