2000 ZR700 Long Track

Looking at long tracking my 2000 ZR700 with a 136" track couple of questions:

1. What is the deepest lug track that will fit the stock drivers
2. Does anyone carry a tunnel exstention and rail ext.
3. What chain case gearing should one go with?

Thanks for the help

136"

Did it with a 99ZR7. Put on a factory 136" Cat kit that I got off of Ebay. I am sure you can get them from Tracks USA. Check it out.
I went with a 1.75 Camo Challenger Track. It is just slightly to big so you'll need to notch it. Not a big deal to do just take your time and cut out what you need to. Never had any problems with my notch job and man was it a fun sled when I was done. Not the lightest sled but a blast to ride....love that motor...for an old tech. motor it had good torque numbers. As for gearing, gear down substantially. That sled was factory geared to do 130 or so mph which it will never do. Do the math on the gearing....I think there was a spread sheet program on Arcticchat.com to input your #s and it will figure it out for you. Gear down to 90mph ( think that is where I went with it) or so and the sled will flat out RIP!!! Like I said, that motor is a fun *** motor on a fun chassis IMO. Very good upgrade for that sled.

Hope this helps.

Just wondering would a 1.5" fit with out any notching and run with the stock components ie drivers

Give it a shot. You can measure the distance you have between the track you have and the closest interference point and see how much space you have. Worst case you will need to trim the track a little bit. Good luck

I'm running a 1.75" 136 track on my 1998 ZR 600. The PO installed rail extensions, the track, and said he lowered the gearing, but I haven't pulled the case cover to verify. It's my wife's sled.

I have a 136 track that I will be selling from my wrecked poo. Drop me a line.
