'07.5 2500hd tire size

just bought a 2007.5 chevy 2500hd duramax. current tire size is 265/70/17. I am looking for advise from anyone who has run 285/75/16's on that style truck and if they put leveling keys, turned the bars up, or did nothing. I have a set of 285/75/16 duratracs that are already mounted and was thinking of putting them on for the winter. thoughts?

They will fit fine. 1" wider than stock but almost the exact same height... My brother had that exact size on his 08 2500hd with no problems.

I have a 2007.5 3500 duramax and I am running 33x12.50 r18 on my with the stock bars turned up to where it is not quite level. it all depends on what wheels and back spacing you are running. The more they stick out the worse the rub on the backs of the fender wells

315/70/17 . You'll be fine with 285's.
