Rear suspension options

Looking for ideas or suggestions for a 144" or longer 97 Mach Z. Wondering what you guys might think. Should I just pick up a newer SC10 and add extensions with a big wheel kit or find an aftermarket like Holz or Fast that I can frankenstein in there?
