Default 2005 King Cat. What is this red shutoff valve?

I haven't owned a sled in over 10 years and I picked this sled up about a month ago. This looks like it was added by someone and not Arctic cat? Maybe I'm mistaken. Can you tell me what it is for? It was closed. I'm taking the sled out ice fishing tomorrow and don't want to have any troubles.

Also, can I just top off the coolant with 50/50 car antifreeze? Thanks for any help.

If we are looking at the red valve. That is a coolant by pass for carb heat. I believe.

Yes, the red valve. So, this is an optional bypass for extreme conditions I would assume. I'm going to close the valve then. Thank you.
