I saw that you removed the heat shields. Careful with the one on the exhaust side panel. I pulled mine off and cooked the thing the first time I laid it down. I put it back on.

Ya, I have been very careful of that... I put heat tape on the entire panel, even though it doesn't really do much, the few times that I have laid it over on that side I have been very quick to get it back on the skis and 'reform' the panel... no damage as of yet, but I know if I was to leave it in contact for more than 30 seconds it would definitely melt a blemish into it.

Where the Buffalo roam
Lost mine in first 100 miles,heat taped panel, chain case cover and hood. It's been fine and if you cut the panel just right you can use the circles to replace/fill in the "glove box" doors in the console!!
