Ecu won’t power up via external power?! Related to rough running issues?
Been trying to diag my sled not running properly. While attempting to check and reset my tps, I found out hat the ecu will not power up via the external power plug. I ended up getting wiring diagrams and powering it up right as the ecu and nothing. Fuel pump buzzes for half a second second but that’s it. The gauge does nothing. But yet it will start and run and function as usual, except for the fact that it runs rough and won’t rev up past 7k. I know I have powered it up via the external power plug before but for the life of me I can’t remember if it was before or after my first ride this season where it started having issues. Anyone ever heard of an ecu doing this?
