WTT tires or tires and rims

i have 315/75/16 cooper STT's mounted on mickey thompson classic 2's polished. got this setup in sevtember and have 5,000 miles on it, and NO BURNOUTS. i drive like a grandpa. rims are for a 8 lug dodge. i want to go back down to a 285/75/16 or even a 255/85/16. tires are in great shape, they just cook my auto tranny 30 degrees warmer than the smaller size i had last year pulling the sleds up the mountain. when i get a better tranny, i will go back to the 315, but that wont be this year. let me know what you have, or if you want them and we can figure something out. thanks
