Christopher,

I had a trailer built by Double R in Nampa, ID last year. It's 30' total length with a 24' box and a 6' v-nose; 8'6" wide.

I can fit 5 163" sleds in this trailer easily and it isn't even that tight...load from the front and drive out the rear.

Just some information,

Ryan
So how many could you SQUEEZE in if push came to shove???

One of my buddies I ride with has a 26' mirage and he hasn't had any problems with it. I absolutely love the poly bead floor and we have fit 5 long track sleds in with ease.

Thanks.
Those are the kind of comments I want to hear before I decide to plunk down some SERIOUS $$$$ on a new custom built trailer.

I guess it all comes down to how much cash do you wanna put into this trailer. If you have plenty of cash that its not going to hurt you why not get every option from heaters to a stereo put into the trailer? But if you want to get a nice trailer and a good bang for your buck which I think Mirage does have a great product and at a reasonable price all you really need in my opinion would be a heater, boot dryer, and some racks to hang your coats and snow pants. You can always add things later but if you have the cash now I'd get everything I wanted in my trailer even some fold down benches. Thats just my $0.02

As a general rule, you get the best over all discount when you take one of their pre-built "packages".

Like most people I do not have unlimited funds and want to get the MOST trailer for the buck. Thats one of the reasons I am looking at the Mirage to begin with, VALUE.

A Mirage X-box, built Nov 2011, rebuilt suspension in Super 8 parking lot in Livingston, MT Feb 2013. Remember now. That's why I fixed it then traded it in.

Looking at a Mirage as well.... Do you have a link to the whole thread about this incident? I tried the search hear and good ole Google and am striking out.

Thanks guys.

Question.

Whats the scoop on trailer deck height.
Most true sled trailers are flat bottom built OVER the Tires, which raises the height of the trailer up.

Is there any COMPELLING reason to do this, vs. having the internal wheel wells and lowering the over all height of the trailer?

The music is way cheesy, but its a good introduction to the product.

This would be a nice feature in a trailer
I could see getting some real use out of a fold down seat like that.
