If you have a lotta carbon buildup that may indicate excessive oil? I know the 02 800 was rich on the oil pump setting from the factory, dealer reset it for me on a ride, he used a certain size wrench to gauge the slack in the cable, don't remember what it was, do some research or check with a dealer.
