Is it okay to get the spindles and boards powedercoated? or will there be an issue? I don’t see much of an issue with the spindles, but I am thinking with the bonded boards there might be issues with the glue.

Both are heat treated alloy's... and both can suffer from powdercoat issues raised above...

Paint or hard coat anodize is the best route.

The POR-15 paint.. with a good acid prep or sand blast ... lays down very nicely with a paint brush.
I don't worry about UV protection/issues with a sled. Have had it on a truck bumper for 10 years now and that is never under cover.
