Viper clock won't keep time

I've set the clock on my viper about four times and every time I do it, the very next day it is back to 12:00. I've noticed that it says 12:00 all the time. Anyone got some advice of what I'm doing wrong?

First place to start is to make sure your battery leads are clean and tight. There are two on the battery, two on the starter solenoid, and another that connects the solenoid to the battery. If they are loose, I have seen the clock restart.

Thanks. I will start there. But what's the reasoning on the clock not changing away from 12:00 on its own? Does it just stay there until set as a default reading?

I will have to look into that. It should still keep time, even if it is set incorrectly. Are you setting it to 12Hr, then set the time, and then go out of the clock and back in to verify the setting?

Did you ever unplug your gauge? You know that resets the time when you do that. Did it happen before or after you installed the turbo?
