I don't mind the Max I in CO powder, II is a little better in the spring and on trail, but man the I is good in the bottomless January stuff.
Don't know if there's a visible deference? I is very easy to get the paddles to squish flat on a garage floor. So maybe how easy the paddles bend?

Just did a google, and found a minute long video of Jamie showing the 2 tracks together. So if you can find that, it might help you to see the deference.
2017 model year was the first year for MaxTrak 2.

2017 Max 2 has beefed up tower edges but same design look. they are stamped on the track.In a 137 length 9302S max 1, 9346S is max 2, new camso opposed paddle which is the best yet is a 9396S.
