M headlights the same as Firecat headlights?

Are the headlights the same? On the parts fiche theyre different part #'s but the two different part numbers have different assemblies. It looks like the firecats use the same bulb for all four and the M's use two different ones.

Im assuming they are the same reflector/lense but I want to be sure.

I had an 03 Fcat and the lights didn't fit in my 07M8

The headlight housings were not the same then?

Just grabbed a couple and looked them over. The housings ARE different. The bulbs are the same. The housing fits into the hood just a bit differently and will not work.........you learn something new every day, especially if you pay attention!

What happened to the old headlights? Did they melt in the oven or something?
