ONnmy chart for each temperature and altitude it has a box

I know that the #3 or #2 and all that means needle clip postion but it also has for example 390/370. Does that mean 390 to 370 or does that mean 390 on one side and 370 on the other side. if so, what side does the richer jet go on?

Usually the larger jet goes on the mag. side. Engines run hotter on that side because of the way the exhaust pipe runs and the mag. adding heat to the right side.

So if it says 390/370, the richer jet goes on the mag side and the 370 goes on the pto side.

Thats quite a difference in both sides though isnt it?

Part of tuning will be to read the plugs/ wash, charts are a good starting place but usually fat. One benefit from running offset jets, is that you only need 1 of each #.
