Why not just come up with a skinny kit consisting of side panels and running boards

It still won't match the Pros backcountry ability stock. It wouldn't be changing the way the front end geometry reacts on the snow. There is a reason that the Pro and M are similar layouts when parked next to each other. You can measure the differences and see how they took the M and refined it into the Pro. While we now have a refined XP. Totally different mass centralized layout. Works better in certain situations and much worse in the technical riding aspect for some of us. It was designed to be a low center of gravity and planted front end. Works great for racing/jumping/climbing, but the entire sled is built for other intentions. The skid is 2.5" more forward, the spindles are 1.5" back, the bars need relocated back 2". The front suspension travels in a front to back cycle that is constantly moving the pivot point on the snow.
The M and Pro are similar forward spindle designs with a stable pivot. Make a skinny kit for the M and some triangulation to the upper steering and there you go! Its shocking to see how much the M twists.

On a more positive note, The 800HO does physically fit in the pro.
But the drop in fix it kit is starting to get more appealing.
Oh well PC for one more season :face-icon-small-dis

this is my arguemnt,

wtf the poo guys are tearing down there motors ect going to all extremes to make there sled reliable and what they want

you cat guys act like cutting down the standing rails a 400$ mod if you buy aftermarket boards is the worlds end.

make it skinnier, suck in the side panels, figure it out!!!! or go get a poo and figure out its issues, but just saying it doesnt it sucks and doing nothing is weak sauce!!

even if you had to remount a-arms, remount the skid, skinny it up whatever it takes, lets figure it out not whine about it. im starting with skinnying it up and sucking in the panels, my proclimb didnt leave me in the woods in 1200 miles last season, (had to change belts but made it home) in alaska thats priceless as you will need a helicopter to get you out of some areas if your not on your own power.
