I love to ride my 2014 M8000 LTD however the seat is too short. I am 6'5" and have long legs. What are the options available? Both OEM and aftermarket? :face-icon-small-hap

The seat is too short in length. The height seems ok. You are right about the standing part :face-icon-small-hap

Agree I have a 13 and rode a friends 14 everytime you sit down you go off the back. When your hitting the trails to get some where who wants to stand the entire time if its smooth , plus we don't live near the mountains so we ride locally a lot too.

We just sold a bunch of our factory seats that were perfect.
Black/White, White/Orange, Black with green piping, and an all black off a 2013.
I will check if the guy is still taking the all black seat for sure, and that's a cheap option. I think we sold the rest at $175?

This is the exct reason I went with the WRP seat and trailtank on my prolite instead of keeping the stock seat/tank combo. Lighter, little longer, shorter height wise to hop over, more fuel capacity so I don't have to haul a a can, and has the same amount of storage.

Swapped

Swapped out my 2014 snopro seat and tank for a stock 2012 combo. 2014 looks good, and holds stuff in back of seat, and tank holds more fuel, but I gave that up for a spot for battery and not falling off the back edge of seat (6' tall). 2014 e/start, non snopro, and non limited models still have bigger seat and longer tank.

I ride with my knees against the cowling pads. And there's about 7in behind my arse. But I am short, only 5'11" and thin 170#. So no giant arse hanging out back.
But if u do not ride with ur knees against the cowling u can fall off the back.

Must change the fuel tank too......... seats are designed different from 13 to 14.
