e-vent outer wear is it any good does it compare to klim

E-vent is WATER RESISTANT which means it will leak over time. And it does not breathe as well.
It was my understanding that Klim used to use Event in some of their early stuff but got away from it because it does break down and come apart after awhile.

eVent is waterproof.
Klim switched to Gore because the name is bigger and helps them sell more pieces. eVent does not do huge marketing campaigns and Gore does which helps out anybody with it in their products.
The biggest difference between GoreTex, Reissa, eVent, etc... is their names.
