Contour settings for riding

I did a search and nothing came up immediately, what kind of settings do you guys use on your Contour 1080p?

I've got one more day riding on this trip and my videos have been turning out sub-par. I could use some advise on some settings. Today was a mix of some flat light and sunny and also some very poor visibility.

set it to 720 action

this will increase your field of view and up the FPS

I have been running mine in the 720 action setting, my other vids this year have been good because it's usually cloudy. But yesterday it was sunny and when their were no trees around it just looked like flat light when I watched my video's....kind of frustrating with some footage that could have turned out good. Does anyone have any lighting/contrast/sharpness/esposure. Thanks for any input.

Drop the exposure two clicks. You can also adjust the metering to get better results, but I have yet to find the right combo with that. Sunny days I just lower the exposure.
