Bought this guy a few months ago and just took it up a few days ago for the first time....terrible snow in wa!
Seemed to run and idle good in yard and when loading. On the trail it started and ran fine for a quarter mile then just died like I hit the kill switch. Started ok then would only run on one cylinder.
Finally was able to get it started again and had to stay on the gas to get back to the trailer. If I let off it died. Changed plugs a couple times. Any thoughts?
Bad gas? Injectors? Coil?
Any help is much appreciated!

Fueling issues...

Maybe check your fuel filter. BTW, the factory replacement cost will make your knees buckle, search the forum for the NAPA parts list for a great AND cost effective fix. Not sure this is it but it's a start...

make sure to check the throttle body boots. its very common for those to crack and cause vacuum leaks which would cause it to run like you are saying, other than that do the fuel filter first and go from there keep us posted and we will get it figured

Always rec the fuel fitler however, make sure the throttle cable is adjusted correctly. Meaning little to almost no slack in the cable. The adjuster is just below the crossbar of the handlbars. Too much slack allows the safety switch to be energized and not enough raises TPS voltage.

Even though you didn't mention it, the other thing would be if your headlights and handwarmers were malfunctioning voltage regulator always seem to be early season failure items on these sleds. They must not like to sit for the summer.
