Cat big bores make a lot of power so pretty impressed. Regardless that 850 sure jumps out of the hole fast. Would be nice to see it against an 800 axys and 850 doo.

And what the bias video doesn't show is the Cat hooking up to the Poo and towing it back to the truck , lol shots fired.

I talked to people who rode the Polaris 850 yesterday. They were very impressed with it. The video of the Alpha Cat against a 13 Pro Turbo was a joke and everybody who watched it knows that. It either didn’t run right or had the boost off. It didn’t pack the skis like any decent running turbo would have. I am anxious to see the Alpha Cat against the 850 Axys. I believe the 850 will eat it’s lunch. Let’s see it. Somebody must have lined them up by now. I sure wish I could have rode the 850 yesterday. Bummer!

Heard the Poo feels like the most powerful of the bunch but the Alpha will beat it uphill in the pow.

I would like to see that. It is all just speculation and hearsay until we have solid evidence. I expect that the new Cat track is pretty good. Nevertheless, I don’t believe that it will pull an 850 in a hill climb.

In all honesty I could care less what either the Alpha or the new 850 can do straight up a wide open hill... I would love to see some footage of the Alpha doing some work in technical riding. Not gopro footage but someone filming so we can see how the sled reacts.

Heard from a reliable source who definitely had them all on the snow at once, dont really doubt it honestly. I spent a very small amount of time on an 18 Cat, and when you point those up hill and give’r its like they find another gear and build some serious speed.

As said above, I dont care about a hilldrag of anysort though... I mean it does say SOMETHING, but a Sidewinder would put a bad hurting on them all. Yeah, no thanks.

I found an interesting picture/description on cats fb page, interpret it as you wish but it doesnt seem like they have confidence in the alphas treeriding capability. Time will tell!
