should be fine to just start it as long as you used lubriplate on the bearings. Can always mix a little oil in the gas as well.

There is a 10mm bleader bolt with a copper washer on the front of the motor. As you look at the throttlebodies, it sits just left and under the far left #3 throttlebody, or at 9:00 if it were a clock. Disconnect your plug wires, and turn it over until oil starts pumping out of the bleader hole. This insures that oil is indeed circulating through the head as it should.
Either way:
Don't turn the engine backwards
Once it starts do not shut it off until the nasty sound goes away or you suspect no oil pressure after more than 15-20 seconds
Same applies to the cold run idea that Throttle cable layed out
