Best reeds for turbo application?

I am turbo'ing my iqr with a 600 engine in it.. right now have stock reeds.. Have heard that the stock reeds work fine and have also heard that they dont and you need special turbo reeds..

If I do need special reeds, where would be the best place to purchase them? I have seen a few places sell turbo reeds, but want to make sure it would do any good before I spend more money on something I dont need..

Anyone have an answer to this? :becky:

Hey bud, I figured out that we have turbo doc kits. He has a set he recommends, also there is a mod he does to the carbs to keep from blowing the air box off. Sent mine to him last week.

I bought a set from Shane Heart at HM turbos when I bought my kit. I didn't ask turbo doc who makes his, he did say its a two petal design.

Can't remember, he has them listed on his site. Around 100 I think.
