Gear and track help???please help

I'll get right to the point. Sled 02 800 144 Summit X (before changes ).Last year I changed the track from the stock 144 to a 156x15 2" track with anti-ratchet drivers . I did no gear change when checked RPM,s I was turning about 7400-7500 RPM max.Am looking at getting a DJ clutch kit and team clutch (from a 03 800 summit) Talking with the person I'm getting the team clutch from that I needed to gear down when changing from those track sizes. What gears do I need to run ???? running the stock gearing now not sure what size the are . Any help would be great and thanks for looking

I would run 19/45 gears w/ that set up. The gearing isn't going to help your top RPM unless your not backshifting. On the Team I ran a 46/38 or a straight 38 I can't remember for sure. A straight 40 or 44 might work too. Hope this helps :beer;

What size drivers, 8 tooth? I have a 01, with a 830, 162'' 2'' track, 8 tooth Extroverts. 21 top 43 bottom. I belive I have stalk gearing, I had 19 43 gearing befor, and my track speed was too slow. I have a team secondary 58-38-46 black white spring, 160/290 Purple blue spring in primary. It seems my setup works purty good in the mountains, I can beet my buddys rev with same motor as I!!!!

I think I'm running 9 tooth driversand talking to Doo dealer he thinks I'm running a top gear of 23 so I'm going to check and if its 23 bI'll drop to 21 if its a 21 I'mm drop to 19 sound right???

i have a 2001 summit 700 and im runing a 174 2.5 on it and im geard at 19/47 and it turns 8200rpms all day every day

Isn't 8200 on the high side?

I have an 03 800 151, I've tried 21/43, 21/45, 19/43 and 19/45, by far 19/45 is the best set up. On my team secondary I run a Mountain Magic helix, it works really well , tried a different helix and found that it wasn't shifting properly and it would over rev
