Swapping Tracks! Hints, Tips, Tricks

As with anything I'm sure the guys that have had this mess of a chain case apart have a few tips and or tricks. I can do a nytro in my sleep but this will be my first go at this wreck of a Cat. Anything you would like to share?

13 HCR. 7t drivers. Removing 2.6. Installing 3.2.

That photo is of the gear set in a four stroke, a lot of weight in there.. If you have the 800 it'll have half that, just two gears, a chain, and the tensioner.. I've done many track swaps on these new Cats and its actually pretty easy after you get into it. Good luck!

No sir, I don't ride them sissy 2 strokes. I'll be tearing into it in the morning.

I use a ratchet strap across the running boards. It squeezes the tunnel together slightly to take the tension off of the axle shaft snap rings. It makes them easier to remove/install.:thumb:
