I did hook power/ground to the Gauge PWR Test port and fired it right up. Good for setting it up and downloading updates.

A in Prayn4snow's pic up above, in front of the oil tank there is 3 plugs. One will be labeled Gauge PWR Test. Ground-brown, Red-Power. It will power up the IDD.
